5 Reasons Bachelorette Party Yoga is a Fabulous Idea:
There are many differences between a Bachelor and a Bachelorette party. More and more Bachelorette parties are veering away from the typical Bachelor party vibe of drinking and partying for 48 hours straight and making the weekend more about the balance of mixing some of the good with some healthier choices.
We want to develop authentic memories and a bonding experience for one of the most important weekends in the brides and bridesmaids friendship. If the entire weekend is just one drink and bar after another you can miss the meaningfulness of it in a foggy haze. We aren’t trying to numb the experience, we are trying to actually EXPERIENCE it.
Taking an hour to sit together and move, breathe, laugh, listen to an amazing custom playlist, and do something to bring those endorphins back into our bodies is an incredible opportunity to get away from all of the craziness the weekend can entail.
We want everyone who takes a Bad Girls Yoga class to look around them and think “wow, I'm with all of my friends in one place while celebrating a turning point in our lives and this experience will never happen again. I’m filled with so much gratitude for my life right now”.

1. It’s About Balance
One of the secrets to happiness is balance. If you deprive yourself of fun and do nothing but work, or vice versa, you will find yourself in a depressed place sooner or later. If all you do is eat junk food and stay up all night you will eventually be unable to enjoy the little moments of joy sprinkled throughout the day.
This same philosophy applies to a Bachelorette party! If all you do is drink and party you will leave feeling exhausted, hungover and lacking any really authentic memories or connections.Bachelorette yoga is your solution to achieving balance, fun and still getting your drink on!
2. Get Some Cute Pics to Take Home
If you check out BGY’s Instagram, TikTok, or Pinterest you will see the most fabulous pictures of all of our Bad Girls Yogis! Photos of restaurants, bars, and local attractions are great, but how cute would pics of your crew falling over in tree pose and toasting with Rosé on yoga mats be!? 3. It Will Start Your Day On a Positive Note
So often your Bachelorette weekend can turn into running from one location to the next without a minute to just relax. Why not have an instructor come and set up your own private yoga studio where you want it to be? You can roll out of bed and have everything waiting for you at your airbnb, favorite park or the beach! Overplanning a trip is an easy mistake to make. Take an hour to relax and let the party come to you!
4. It’s a Magic Cure for the Dreaded Hangover
We hear it literally every single day, “Omg I feel so much better now after class”! Let’s face it, hangovers are no fun and they are part of the package when you are out all night living your best life. Instead of feeling lousy for the entire next day, you can get your butt on a yoga mat and feel dramatically better in an hour. Yoga causes a rush of endorphins to flood your brain and make up for what you depleted with tequila the night before. Some music, movement, deep breathing and a good sweat will have you feeling a million times better in no time!
5. All Levels Are Welcome in Bad Girls Yoga!
The beauty of Yoga is that there are so many different ways to practice. There are yoga exercises to strengthen specific parts of your body, yoga for relaxation, yoga for a good sweat, even prenatal Yoga…the list is almost endless. Everyone in your group can choose what they want and our instructor will address their specific needs. No one will ever feel left out in one of our classes.
To close, Bachelorette yoga should be a relaxing, fun and memorable experience. It’s unique and very different from taking an average class at your gym or studio. This session consists of one of the best instructors in the country coming to your location of choice with a playlist and class created specifically with your group in mind. We don’t believe there is anything less serious in the entire world than a yoga class! Let’s chill out and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience together.
Some tips from our founder, Gillian:
● Pack an outfit you will be comfortable in. Is the session outside in the summer? Bring sunglasses and sunscreen. Or do you need a light jacket or sweater to keep you warm?
● We provide the Rosé for after our class, but you should bring plenty of water for during.
● Give some thought to the time you would like to book your session. Many times the group will want to have a slow morning and start later than they planned on initially.
● Let your instructor know how you’re feeling before your session. If you had a late night you might opt for a more chill and relaxing class than you originally anticipated.
● It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or an advanced yogi. Be a kid, have fun, and let go of the stress! Bad Girls Yogis 4eva! :)
